KUROMORI Roleplay HUD Guide 4.0

Important Mechanics

Attributes

Health

Health is the lifeblood of any character. A character who has no health remaining is generally considered defeated and incapacitated depending on the roleplay situation. In some cases when agreed upon with other players, they could be maimed or even dead. Health of a player is reduced having been attacked successfully. There are additional situations, most related to traits that health can also be reduced.

  • All players may have a maximum of 4 health without traits.
  • Some traits may increase or lower the maximum available health.
  • You may choose to have less than 4 maximum health if you are roleplaying a weaker character.
  • To enhance roleplay situations, staff may roleplay characters with greater than 4 maximum health.
  • Health can be restored for yourself or others via the Heal action.
  • Some actions cannot be performed when you have no health remaining.

Stamina

Stamina governs the amount of energy a character has to perform expensive actions. Roleplayers can use stamina to express fatigue for most characters and magic-focused players can think of it as a mana pool. A character who has no stamina remaining can still perform some actions, but some may be less effective due to having no available stamina. Some actions use stamina, and therefore cannot be perfomed without at least 1 stamina.

  • All players may have a maximum of 4 stamina without traits.
  • Some traits may increase or lower the maximum available stamina.
  • You may choose to have less than 4 maximum stamina if you are roleplaying a weaker character.
  • You can choose to non-lethally attack someone using the options menu which will reduce their stamina as opposed to their health attribute.
  • Attacking multiple targets (AOE) uses and requires at least 1 stamina, attacking a single target does not.
  • Healing of any kind requires uses and requires at least 1 stamina.
  • Stamina can be restored for yourself or others via the Heal action by changing the Heal Mode via the options menu.

Stealth

Stealth is an attribute that can be used for multiple roleplaying scenarios. Stealth may govern different aspects of an encounter, and it is best to communicate these during roleplay. For example, the stealth attribute may decide whether an character is disguised or hidden, and can be used by other players to reveal them.

  • All players may have a maximum of 4 stealth without traits.
  • Some traits may increase or lower the maximum available stealth.
  • You may choose to have less than 4 maximum stealth if you are roleplaying a weaker character.
  • The Discover action damages a targets health similar to how the health attribute works for Attack.
  • There are no actions that are prevented by having no stealth remaining, but the consequences should be appropriately roleplayed.
